A large, primitive blanket/rug from Greece, a gift from Gatra Mallard, covers the table. An icon I painted as well as a vintage Lefkaritiko table cloth brought back from Cyprus in the 1920s by Bill’s grandparents Jackson also adorns the table. The dove-shaped peace lamp is from a Palestinian workshop in Taybeh, in the West Bank, sponsored by the local Catholic church.
