This tapestry was commissioned for the retirement of Dr. Mary Luti from the faculty at Andover Newton Theological School. The central motif is the green cross, incorporating a mandela at the center, which became an important motif in several works. This design was enlarged and modified for the weaving, “Terrifying Joy.” 18″ x 24″. 1998.
