Angelwing I was the second tapestry I wove after learning this technique. It is an exploration of a path through a landscape using different weaving designs. Angelwing II is woven to the same design but exploring other colors and pathways. Both weavings are hung from a bar, Angelwing II a branch, and both have long fringes at the bottom incorporating turquoise beads. The tapestry, “Summer,” from the Seasonal Quartet, is also based on this design. 12″ x 30″, inclusive of bar and fringe. 1992.
