In the Wisdom of Solomon 7:22-23, Wisdom is portrayed as having numerous qualities, which are here laid out in a quilt-like patchwork. A golden pathway begins with the words “For in her is a spirit that is Intelligent, Holy…” Each piece then carries a word describing her. A single thread forms a meandering pattern uniting all the pieces. A fine golden mesh arches over the center of the work, representing the Spirit holding them all together.
