This series of small mosaic plaques was created during the winter of 2007 to recall the pleasures of a summer garden for an exhibition at a local gallery.

A small Chinese plate from Bill’s mother was broken and placed against a gold and blue patterned background. Parts of the back of the plate are exposed to show the beautiful markings on the reverse side. 8″ x 10″.
