This bowl was made by “Pitter the Potter” in Maggie Valley, NC, around 2022. It came out of the kiln cracked and warped. The potter was going to put it in the dump. He gave it to me when I purchased a gift from him. I gave it a kintsugi treatment by filling the wide crack and gilding it. An acquaintance wanted it very badly but was unwilling to pay the price I put on it. She was from Fairhope, AL, a place we enjoyed visiting earlier. We agreed she could have the bowl in exchange for a night’s lodging, which we were never able to collect. 12″ wide and 6″ deep.
