Created for the annual Music and Worship Arts Week held each year by the Fellowship of United Methodists in Music and Worship Arts (FUMMWA) at Lake Junaluska. The two large silk-painted hangings were created to represent the coming of the Inspiring Spirit over the event. The waters of Lake Junaluska were represented by a large blue dyed silk altar covering. The installation on the altar changed each day to represent various worship arts as well as communion.
A series of six double papercut banners hung at each side of Stuart Auditorium, showing one of the worship arts – drama, singing, dance, etc. The paper cuts were given to the FUMMWA at the end of the conference.
